The Washington State Department of Commerce’s International Aerospace Briefing Series continues with a look at upcoming events and opportunities for Washington’s aerospace companies in Europe. Joining Commerce will be the UK Aerospace, Defense and Securities Group, A|D|S, along with a business delegation from UK Trade and Investment (UKTI).

This free informational briefing will feature presentations from:

• David Scotter, Director of Aerospace Market Development and Exhibitions for A|D|S
• Paul Sinclair, Washington State's Trade Office in Europe and Manager of the State's AeroDesk

David Scotter of A|D|S will give an overview of his organization, which is charged with advancing the UK's aerospace, defense and security industries. David will also discuss new initiatives and opportunities at the upcoming Farnborough Air Show.

Paul Sinclair will provide insights via telephone on recent visits to the AeroSolutions Show in Bordeaux and the AirTec Supply Fair in Frankfurt, as well as discuss upcoming events and opportunities in Europe for Washington companies, including the the Hamburg Interiors Show, the Berlin Air Show and a potential WA State Aerospace Mission to Toulouse in December 2010. In addition, learn more about how your company can leverage the AeroDesk to find customers, partners, and reps in the European market.
